Hi, My name is Blaine and I like to eat.
Back in my younger days I would eat almost anything from almost anywhere
(Foodwise anyway, No nails, legos or mud, etc.)
But around 35 years ago I started learning about how our food is produced and the effects of the production methods used; that chemicals, fertilizers, GMO’s and environments matter to the healthiness of the plants, animals, our planet and our bodies.
The more my understanding grew the more I became concerned about where my food was coming from and how it affected my health and well-being.
I began realizing that food can not only help our bodies heal but, it can also aggravate and negatively impact our body’s ability to heal, as well. What we put in our bodies can affect our physical health, our energy levels and our cognitive functions.
Along with this understanding came the realization of the benefits, and really, the necessity, of taking vitamins and other nutritional dietary supplements. My approach was always a form of guesswork as to what would actually benefit my body. My supplement choices were based on an ailment I had, anecdotal results, prevailing and popular information or just thinking yeah, my body needs that.
When I found out about the Viome program, presented through MindValley University, I was intrigued and excited. Hearing about how Viome takes 3 simple samples (Blood, Stool, Saliva) that I gather at home and puts those samples through state-of-the-art testing of RNA (how our DNA is expressing)(find out more here) and they can actually determine what my Superfoods are and what foods I should avoid.
With their testing they can also determine what supplemental ingredients will most benefit my body and custom-make a personalized supplement with the exact amounts of each ingredient my body needs to optimize it’s performance.
Wow- A dietary plan created around my personalized needs instead of a one-size-fits-all, this is good for every body approach; Sign me up!
I decided I wanted to learn more. I entered their Certification program and now have the honor and distinction of being a member of their inaugural graduating class.
I’m grateful and excited to not only more successfully continue my own journey of healthy and happy living but to also share the knowledge with others, provide them some tools to be the best they can be and, ultimately, help create a better world.
